Siri Bisa Bikin iPhone 'Laris Manis'
CALIFORNIA - Apple diprediksi akan berhasil menjual 30 juta smartphone pada akkhir Desember tahun ini, lebih tinggi dari perkiraan sebelumnya sebanyak 28 juta.
Para analis percaya penjualan yang tinggi itu berkat kehadiran Siri, yang muncul pada pertengahan Oktober bersamaan dengan diluncurkannya iPhone 4S.
Dilansir VentureBeat, Senin (12/12/2011), Maynard Um, analis UBS melihat penjualan yang kuat dari perangkat mobile Apple ini mendorong nilai perusahaan hingga USD510 per saham selama 12 bulan ke depan.
iPhone bukanlah satu-satunya sumber uang Apple, tablet besutan perusahaan tersebut yakni iPad turut menyumbang pendapatan yang besar. Menurut UM, penjualan iPad akan mencapai hingga 13 juta unit pada kuartal ini, melebihi perkiraan sebelumnya sebanyak 12 juta.

Fakta Mengenai BlackBerry Yang Perlu Anda Ketahui
Seperti dikatakan Alec Saunders selaku Vice President, Developer Relation & Ecosystem Development RIM, bahwa tidak semua kabar yang beredar mengenai BlackBerry, seperti disebutkan di atas adalah benar. Banyak orang menyangka BlackBerry merupakan perangkat yang ditujukan buat kalangan pebisnis.
"Isu menjelaskan BlackBerry hanya untuk kalangan pebisnis, tapi tahukah Anda jika itu adalah salah. Fakta membutikan 6 dari 10 pengguna BlackBerry di Thailand menggunakan perangkat ini untuk keperluan pribadi. Sedangkan 7 dari 10 orang di Indonesia juga menyatakan hal yang sama," papar Saunders, di Suntec Covenvention Centre, Singapura baru-baru ini.
Saunders menerangkan, fakta di atas membuktikan sebenarnya sekarang BlackBerry sudah beralih menjadi perangkat yang bersifat pribadi dan bukan hanya untuk kalangan pebisnis. Meski diakui beberapa waktu lalu ponsel besutan Reserch in Motion (RIM) ini memang digunakan para pebisnis untuk menunjang pekerjaannya. Namun RIM memang membantah jika ponsel ini hanya untuk kalangan tersebut saja.
Tidak hanya itu, isu lain yang mengabarkan jika penguna BlackBerry tidak membutuhkan aplikasi atau konten yang banyak, seperti platform lainnya, sebut saja Android yang memiliki banyak aplikasi. Kemudian banyak yang menyebutkan jika pengembang aplikasi BlackBerry tidak akan mendapatkan banyak keuntungan ketika menciptakan aplikasinya di perangkat asal Kanada ini.
"Tidak benar jika ada yang mengatakan, pengguna BlackBerry tidak membutuhkan aplikasi atau layanan ketika menggunakan perangkatnya. Faktanya pengguna BlackBerry di Indonesia dua kali lipat lebih banyak menggunakan aplikasi setiap kali menggunakan ponselnya," jelasnya.
"Kemudian salah jika ada yang mengatakan pengembang aplikasi untuk BalckBerry tidak menghasilkan banyak uang. BlackBerry App World lebih banyak menghasilkan uang bagi para pengembang yang membuat aplikasi berbayar dibandingkan Android Market, dan ini merupakan App store kedua yang paling menguntungkan setelah Apple," lanjutnya.
"Aplikasi yang terdapat di App World menghasilkan 40 persen lebih banyak dibandingkan penghasilan yang didapat di Android Market. Kemudian 13 persen dari pengembang aplikasi BlackBerry telah menghasilkan USD100,000 atau lebih dari itu ketika menciptakan aplikasinya di BlackBerry App World," simpulnya.

Facebook diminta buang kandungan hina Raja Thailand
BANGKOK 25 Nov. - Thailand meminta laman rangkaian sosial Facebook membuang lebih 10,000 halaman yang mengandungi imej atau teks yang disifatkan ‘menyinggung’ sistem pemerintahan beraja, kata menteri, semalam.
Pengumuman itu dibuat sehari selepas sebuah mahkamah di Thailand memenjarakan seorang lelaki selama 20 tahun kerana menghantar mesej yang dianggap menghina pemerintah beraja.
“Kami telah memaklumkan pihak Facebook dan mendapatkan bantuan mereka untuk membuang kandungan yang bersifat menghina raja kita,” kata Menteri Maklumat, Anudith Nakornthap. - AFP

Melaka bersedia mengubal dan mewartakan enakmen khusus bagi menakrifkan kegiatan homoseksual dan lesbian sebagai satu ajaran sesat.

Menurutnya, tindakan sedemikian termasuklah ini membicarakan mereka di mahkamah syariah serta dimasukkan ke pusat pemulihan akidah bagi dibimbing kembali ke pangkal jalan.
"Kita bersedia untuk mengubal dan mewartakan enakmen khusus bagi menangani gejala homoseksual dan lesbian ini, sebagaimana kita tangani ajaran sesat sebelum ini.
"Sebagaimana tindakan diambil terhadap ajaran sesat lain seperti al-Arqam dan sebagainya, tindakan serupa akan turut diambil terhadap mereka yang menyokong, mengikut atau terlibat dalam aktiviti homoseksual dan lesbian ini," katanya ketika diminta mengulas mengenai program Seksualiti Merdeka 2011 yang diharamkan polis.

5. Kalau sudah Klik saja Next
6. Pada "Do you already have a google adsense account?" klik No
7. Masukkan Email gmail baru kamu dan klik Next
8. Untuk tahap indyarocks sudah selesai, tapi ada hal yang harus kamu kerjakan. silahkan cek kembali kotak masuk email kamu dan buka email verifikasi dari google adsense dan ikuti instruksi yang diminta dan klik link yang diberikan google adsense maka kamu akan dibawa ke tahap pengisian data pada google adsense. Jadi isilah dengan benar. jika belum ada pesan verifikasi dari Google adsense tunggu saja beberapa saat Pihak Indyarocks sedang mereview aplikasi anda untuk diajukan ke pihak Google adsense.
9. Jangan lupa pilih "Yes" pada "Allow Indyarocks.com to access my account" lanjutkan dengan mengklik "Submit information"

Pada bagian ini adalah konfirmasi kebenaran data "hal yang paling penting yaitu pada bagian Nam penerima pembayaran dan negara asal" ini harus benar-benar sesuai karena sudah tidak bisa di rubah lagi, tapi untuk alamat dan data lainnya masih bisa dirubah kemudian. Jika sudah benar klik saja "Create account"
11. Beri tanda cek dan klik "I Accept"

Rolex Explorer 2 Watch For 2011
For 2011 Rolex offers a new Explorer 2 to follow up last year's new Explorer. While the Explorer was bumped up to 39mm last year, the Explorer 2 is the Rolex sport watch with a modern size of 42mm in width. Samsung plans on selling 300M phones in 2011
In an interview with the S. Korean Yonhap news agency Shin Jong-kyun, president of Samsung's mobile communications and digital imaging, laid out Samsung Mobile's big plans for 2011. This year the company is aiming (and expects) to surpass its last year's shipments - 25 million smartphones out of a total of 280 million sold with the staggering 60 million smartphones and a total of 300 million phone shipments. That's close to 1 million devices sold a day.

Are you ready for more heavyweight droid action, with superclocked punches thrown around and more blood on the floor? It’s time for round two of our dual-core battle of the flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S II and the LG Optimus 2X are fully updated and ready to show their best. We’ve also thrown the Samsung Galaxy S Plus in the ring to see if one, faster core is better than two slower ones.
At pre-release Galaxy S II on a 1GHz dual-core CPU and the Optimus 2X has since received a few firmware updates up to stock V10B, which made it noticeably zippier.
Not only that, but we also got the latest 1.2GHz Galaxy S II, we felt obligated to redo the tests now that we’ve got a final Galaxy S II with a 1.2GHz processor (updated to the I9100XWKE7 firmware). A Galaxy S Plus with a faster than usual single-core processor makes it a three-cornered fight.
Now, our Galaxy S Plus unit runs at just 1.2GHz instead of the 1.4GHz planned for the final version. Stil, we can’t wait to see if 2 x 1GHz is better than 1 x 1.2GHz – a 20% increase in clock speed should bring a big improvement in single-threaded tasks of which there are many, considering we’ve only recently entered the world of dual-core phones.
Now, the Plus version could breathe new life into the old Galaxy S but it’s still using the old 5MP camera with “just” 720p video recording and the old PenTile SuperAMOLED screen.
The Samsung and LG flagships on the other hand boast 8MP cameras with 1080p video capture. And in the case of the Galaxy S II, the screen is a massive improvement

The PC freezes or reboots suddenly
1. This could indicate a failing PSU that is not supplying power correctly to the motherboard. You may be able to get the PSU serviced but in most cases you will be better off getting a new power supply.
2. This could be due to overheating of the PSU or CPU: If the PSU is overheating, the metal cabinet may be hot to touch or you might get a shock. Shut off immediately. The mostly likely problem is that the power_ok (or power_good) signal is sent before the power supply has stabilised. Get a better quality PSU. In modern PCs, the power switch is a logic device that tells the PSU to supply full power to the motherboard. The power_ok signal tells the motherboard that the power supply is available and stable. If the signal is sent too soon the motherboard does not recognize it and stays off to protect itself. This can happen in lowerquality PSUs. Booting more than once is not recommended, and you will be better off getting a better PSU.

1. This may be due to the addition of new hardware that is overtaxing the power supply. Remove the last hardware component installed and check again.
